Insights
Turn day‑to‑day chatter into strategic product signals.
Insights use Duster’s AI to analyse your Linear issues and build a living model of your product — its domain areas, user pains, and the outcomes you’re targeting. With this context in place, every new conversation in Slack is also analyzed by Insights and can be mapped back to the roadmap automatically.
How it works
Data source | What Duster learns | How it’s used |
---|---|---|
Linear issues | Current roadmap, feature themes, component names, priority fields | Builds a knowledge graph of your product space |
Slack threads | Sentiment, keywords, paint points, feature requests, message types and intentions | Auto‑classifies relevance to roadmap items and suggests triage actions |
Why it matters
Product managers and product builders can use insights to:
- Spot gaps – surface user pains that aren’t yet covered by planned work.
- De‑noise – focus only on Slack conversations that influence upcoming releases.
- Prioritise faster – see which roadmap areas receive the most real‑world feedback.
Thread‑level insights
For every Slack thread, Duster extracts strategic metadata such as:
- Roadmap relevance (high / medium / low)
- Suggested priority (urgent, next sprint, backlog)
- Sentiment (positive, neutral, negative)
- Detected incident or idea flags
You can filter and group threads by any of these dimensions right inside the Duster UI.
